Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Minuteman Shop Control (“the Software”) is made and sold by Minuteman Systems LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (“Minuteman,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at hello@minutemanshopcontrol.com. These Terms are an agreement between you (the business buying the Software) and Minuteman Systems LLC.

2. The Software is licensed under the Licence Agreement

The Software is licensed, not sold, under our Licence Agreement. That agreement covers what you get (one shop, one location, up to two computers, perpetual), what you may not do, who owns what, updates, support, the warranty disclaimer and the limit of liability. The installer asks you to accept it. If these Terms and the Licence Agreement ever disagree about the Software, the Licence Agreement wins.

3. What you are buying

The Enlisted edition is a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and has no recurring fee. It is sold to businesses only, for use in running a repair shop.

4. Purchases, payment and refunds

Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”). Paddle handles the checkout, sales tax, receipts and payment questions, and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the transaction. The free Demo mode is the trial: all sales are final, as our Refund Policy explains.

5. Your data stays yours

Everything the Software stores lives on your computer, in a folder you control. We do not have access to it and we do not collect it. What the Software does send is listed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Requirements you are responsible for

The Software reads estimates from CCC ONE® EMS exports. You are responsible for having a CCC ONE licence with EMS export enabled, for a Windows computer that meets the stated requirements, and for keeping a copy of your backups somewhere other than the computer the Software runs on. CCC ONE is a trademark of CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc., which is not affiliated with Minuteman Systems LLC.

7. This website

This website describes the Software as it stands today. Features, screenshots and wording may change as the Software changes. The website is provided “as is.”

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought only in the state courts of the Pennsylvania county where Minuteman Systems LLC has its registered office, or in the United States District Court for the district that includes that county, and you consent to those courts.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. Changes never take away a licence you already paid for.
